Project Description:
Many women experience increased blood pressure during or after menopause, increasing their risk for cardiovascular disease. For many, the presence of high blood pressure is not immediately obvious, nor are the effects or management strategies. Current health interventions are medically effective, yet are not catered to the experiences of women facing menopause.
The MenoPressure Personalized project seeks to create an intervention which is tailored to the needs of these women while considering their diverse backgrounds and different levels of health literacy. This will be done by evaluating and adapting the current Bloeddruk Challenge (Blood pressure challenge) using co-creation methods to actively involve these women, and professional stakeholders.
This project is funded by Healthy Society - Personalized solutions for healthy behavior
